Read the category and year

A hospitality subject ranking is not the same as an overall university ranking. Keep the publisher, subject, year and position together so an old result cannot appear current.

Read the methodology

Find out which indicators the publisher measures and how they are weighted. Reputation surveys and research measures answer different questions from accommodation quality or total study cost.

Add what rankings leave out

Place fees, programme length, award structure, practical training and location beside the ranking. The result should help you make a choice, not imply that one number settles it.
