An institutional review concerns the school or university. A programme accreditation concerns a defined course or award. A business-school quality label is not automatically Swiss higher education accreditation.

Check the official register

Use the swissuniversities list and the Swiss Accreditation Council for Swiss institutional status. Match the legal name and campus rather than relying on a badge on a brochure.

Record the scope

Keep the accreditor, exact institution or programme, validity and source together. Memberships, awards and rankings belong in different categories.
