Hospitality Internships in Switzerland

The most useful comparison asks what you will do, how you are supported and what remains your responsibility.

Editorial guide · Updated 5 October 2026 · Editorial approach & affiliation

01

Count the months and the learning

Compare the number of placements, duration, timing and required roles. Two placements can create very different experience depending on the departments and level of responsibility.

02

Separate support from a guarantee

A careers team can help with applications and employer introductions. Ask who secures the role, what happens if you receive no offer and whether any guarantee has written conditions.

03

Use income cautiously

A gross salary is not take-home savings. Housing, meals, insurance, taxes and personal expenses can reduce it. Do not use potential internship income to fund an invoice due before you start work.
