The regular three-year fee calculation

The 2026 PDF lists tuition rising across the three programme years, operating costs, a 24-week shared-room/meals package and an application fee. For a student who starts in Year 1 and continues normally, the Year 2 and Year 3 application fees are not repeated: the PDF marks them for transfer students. The resulting component sum is CHF 116,800. It is based on the current schedule and remains subject to the school’s annual fee review.

An annual average and the actual yearly amounts

The full schedule averages about CHF 38,933 per programme year. A continuing student’s component sums are CHF 38,600 in Year 1, CHF 38,600 in Year 2 and CHF 39,600 in Year 3. These calculations are for the stated hospitality BA and entry route; transfer entrants, room upgrades and other programmes require a different quote.

What the campus package covers

The room/meals line is for 24 academic weeks per year, not continuous accommodation over the whole year. BHMS’s tuition information says operating charges include health insurance; confirm the policy and dates for your circumstances. Internship living expenses, personal spending and upgraded rooms need a separate budget. The packaged campus costs make the base easier to understand, but do not make the entire stay all-inclusive.

Know the exact award

The Hotel & Hospitality Management route identifies a dual award from BHMS and Robert Gordon University. A university partnership and a school’s own credentials are different from Swiss federal institutional accreditation. Check the exact degree title, awarding body and the recognition needed for your intended employment or further study. This distinction is part of the value assessment, not a footnote.

Three internships, with questions still to ask

The representative BA combines academic study with a six-month internship each year. Ask about placement responsibilities, departments, assessment, work eligibility and support if a role falls through.
